Audio Q&A: 'Stuck in Love' With Director Josh Boone
Writer and director Josh Boone joined KCET Cinema Series host Pete Hammond after the screening of his newest film, "Stuck in Love" this past week at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica.
A quintessential comedy, this is Boone's first feature film and it stars Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Lily Collins and Logan Lerman. In this audio clip, Boone shares insights into his own dysfunctional family. He reflects on how he had the chance to give his parents' story a different ending because he believes in love. But at the same time, he wanted to have the film take in the full spectrum of human relationships.
The music drives the film with a perfect score from indie rock band Bright Eyes and a soundtrack from some of today's hottest music artists.
