Q&A immediately following with director Roger Michell, as well as actors Bex Taylor-Klaus, Lindsay Duncan and Anson Boon.

Roger Michell ("My Cousin Rachel," "Notting Hill") directs this remake of the Danish film, "Silent Heart," in which Lily (Susan Sarandon) and Paul (Sam Neill) host a festive holiday weekend for family and closest friends. Although unresolved issues surface between mother and daughters Jennifer (Kate Winslet) and Anna (Mia Wasikowska), Lily’s story is ultimately one of hope, love and a celebration of life.

Michell shared, “It’s quite a funny film. It’s not entirely dreary. It has wonderful life and truth in it. We know there’s going to be a death, but it’s what surrounds that death that makes it so fascinating. It’s a complicated family.”

Immediately following the screening, Deadline’s chief film critic Pete Hammond, who can also be seen on KCET’s Must See Movies, will moderate a Q&A with director Roger Michell as well as actors Bex Taylor-Klaus, Lindsay Duncan and Anson Boon.

The film screens on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. PDT. Only $10 per viewing link. Limited space available.
