The 90-minute untold story about the prolific landscape artist and television personality. As the creator and host of "The Joy of Painting," which aired on PBS from 1983 to 1994, Bob Ross brought joy to millions as the world's most famous art instructor. Twenty-five years after his death, an ugly battle for his work and estate casts a shadow over his happy trees. This documentary, executive produced by Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, aims to take viewers inside his life, art and controversial afterlife.

Immediately following the screening, Deadline’s chief film critic Pete Hammond, who can also be seen on KCET’s Must See Movies, will moderate a Q&A with director Joshua Rofé.
