The KCET Cinema Series continues its summer season at the historic Aero Theatre in Santa Monica Tuesday, July 5, with a screening of "Five Nights in Maine." The debut feature film from writer/director/producer Maris Curran premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and has since been traveling to film fests across the United States. The family-centric drama stars David Oyelowo as a widower who makes an emotional trip to visit his terminally ill, former mother-in-law (Dianne Wiest).

Sponsored by the James and Paula Coburn Foundation and E. Hofert Dailey Trust, the KCET Cinema Series presents audiences with anticipated films, before their wide release. Screenings are followed by informative Q&A sessions between host Pete Hammond and the film's talent. The current season runs at the Aero Theatre on Tuesday nights through August 2.
