Jessica Chastain's 'Miss Sloane' Screens at the KCET Cinema Series on November 15

The KCET Cinema Series continues its winter season at ArcLight Cinemas, Sherman Oaks on Tuesday, November 15 with "Miss Sloane." The political thriller stars Jessica Chastain as a ruthless Washington D.C. lobbyist up against the powerful gun industry. The film is the first screenplay for former attorney-turned-writer Jonathan Perera.

KCET Cinema Series host Pete Hammond describes "Miss Sloane" as a "hot button-topic" movie. Director John Madden ("Shakespeare in Love") will be on hand for a Q&A session led by Hammond following the screening.

The KCET Cinema Series is proudly sponsored by the E. Hofert Dailey Trust. The winter series is sold out, so please stay tuned for information on next year's spring series.
