The film screens on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. Passes and tickets are available in advance, and at the door of the Aero Theatre.

"She Said" is a testament to the power of investigative journalism, and details the journey of reporters and editors engaged in the unrelenting pursuit of the truth. Together, their commitment sparked a national conversation, and helped to propel the #MeToo movement. The film stars two-time Academy Award nominee Carey Mulligan ("Promising Young Woman," "An Education") and Zoe Kazan ("The Plot Against America," "The Big Sick").

Immediately following the screening, Deadline’s chief film critic Pete Hammond, who can also be seen on KCET's Must See Movies, moderated a Q&A with screenwriter Rebecca Lenkiewicz.

Listen to the full Q&A from the screening below.

The long-running in-person film series returns in October to the historic Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, while the popular virtual series continues on Eventive, a technology platform designed specifically to enhance the online film viewing experience.
