Q&A immediately following with producer Nigel Sinclair and editor/executive producer Paul Crowder.
From the team behind the acclaimed documentary “The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – The Touring Years” and Academy Award-winning director Ron Howard comes the powerful documentary “Pavarotti.” A front row seat and in-depth look at legendary Luciano Pavarotti, this powerful film includes history-making performances, intimate interviews with family members, and never-before-seen footage of the celebrated classical singer. Pavarotti became well known among American audiences through the 1990 PBS music special, “Carreras Domingo Pavarotti In Concert” which was the first performance given by opera tenors Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo and José Carreras under the baton of conductor Zubin Mehta at the ancient Baths of Caracalla in Rome.
The film screens at 7:00 p.m. at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica. Immediately following the screening, Deadline’s chief film critic Pete Hammond, who can also be seen on KCET’s Must See Movies, will moderate a Q&A session with producer Nigel Sinclair and editor/executive producer Paul Crowder.
