Our latest film at the Spring KCET Cinema Series, 'Belle' was inspired by the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle, the illegitimate mixed-race daughter of an 18th Century Royal Navy Admiral. Not only was our audience granted the opportunity to see this wonderful film well ahead of it's May theatrical release, but they were treated to an evening with the film's star, Gugu Mbatha Raw.

Speaking with Cinema Series host Pete Hammond, Mbatha-Raw was equally as captivating off screen as on. Listen to the podcast here as she shares her stories of researching her role, treading the boards with Jude Law and the occupational hazards of shooting a 'period' film!
