Q&A: 'Damsels in Distress'

TheKCET Cinema Series gives moviegoers the opportunity to watch and meet the creative power behind independent films before their local release. At last night's screening of 'Damsels in Distress' at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the NoHo Arts District, not only did the audience meet the director of the film, but also most of the staring cast!

After the screening, host Pete Hammond was joined on the stage by director Whit Stillman and stars Greta Gerwig, Analeigh Tipton, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Carrie MacLemore, and Adam Brody. The cast and director talked about the challenges encountered in college, acting roles for women, the film's location, and Stillman's witty dialogue.
