Ann Kaneko

Ann Kaneko is known for her personal films that embrace the intricacies of political reality. Credits include Manzanar, Diverted: When Water Becomes Dust; A Flicker in Eternity; Against the Grain: An Artist’s Survival Guide to Perú and Overstay. She has been a Fulbright, Japan Foundation and Film Independent Doc Lab fellow and teaches media studies at Pitzer College.

In 1967, 17,000 acres of farmland were designated as the San Bernardino County Dairy Preserve. The South Ontario Logistics Center, recently approved by the Ontario City Council, would pave over former preserve lands, some of which were also set aside for conservation through a state fund.
