Christian Mendez

Christian Mendez is a writer based out of the East Coachella Valley, son of farmworker parents. Christian grew up in a farmworking migrant community, where he began his interest in story telling from hearing the stories of wonder from those working around him. His interests include photojournalism and cinematography focused on Mexican American communities. He is Co-founder of Chingaderas collectiva and is an activist and a print maker. Christian writes about policy in rural communities, activism, and community based art.
