Claire Stanford is a PhD student in English at UCLA. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Minnesota, where she also earned a graduate minor in Sustainable Agricultural Systems. A former editor for Eater Minneapolis, her food writing has also been published in Grist, GOOD, Civil Eats, and the Bon Appétit website.
