Romeo Guzmán is an assistant professor at Fresno State, where he directs The Valley Public History Initiative: Preserving our Stories. He received his PhD in Latin American history at Columbia University. A native of the San Gabriel Valley, Guzmán is the co-founder of the South El Monte Arts Posse.
