Amjad (Norman Issa) is an Arab journalist who works at an Israeli newspaper and works very hard to fit in to Jerusalem's elite crowd. However, his being an Arab and his desire to be Israeli are constantly in conflict. Bushra (Clara Khoury), his wife, is the voice of sanity that tries to bring Amjad back in synch with reality. She is opinionated, smart and has none of the identity issues her husband does.
