Burbank, Calif. – Apr. 10, 2018 – KCET, the nation’s largest independent public television station, announced today that it will host a “Holiday in Paradise” sweepstakes inspired by hit British comedy DEATH IN PARADISE. Starting today, KCET will launch a special sweepstakes where a lucky winner and their guest will experience a seven-night Caribbean cruise for two, giving travelers the flexibility to create the vacation of their dreams. This once-in-a-lifetime trip provides an opportunity for fans of the series to imagine themselves tagging along with DI Jack Mooney investigating crimes on the fictional island of St. Marie (the French Caribbean island of Guadaloupe is where the series is actually filmed).

By making a contribution to KCET via kcet.org/Caribbean by May 10, entrants will automatically be entered to win the vacation that includes round-trip airfare from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The lucky winner will work with a travel agent to create an ideal trip to their very own paradise. More details can be found by visiting kcet.org/Caribbean. Contest entries will close May 10. No donation is required for entry.

The series follows a sun, sea and sand-hating British inspector who is transferred to the fictional Caribbean island of St. Marie. Season seven of DEATH IN PARADISE stars Ardal O'Hanlon as detective DI Jack Mooney following the departure of actor Kris Marshall. This season, Mooney will be solving crimes on the island while adjusting to life with his daughter Siobhan (Grace Stone), who faces a big life-changing decision. DEATH IN PARADISE airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. PT on KCET in Southern California.
