KCET Launches On-Air Campaign "FIND KCET" to Educate

Viewers on New Channel Positions

Burbank, Calif. - Nov. 24, 2014 - With the recent channel repositioning by Southern California's top cable providers, KCET, the nation's largest independent public television station, announced it has launched FIND KCET, a three-month, informational television campaign to help educate viewers on how to locate KCET on their respective cable providers.

As part of KCET's ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, the 30-second spot will air on several cable networks including Comedy Central, Food Network, Fox News Channel and the Discovery Channel, and showcase KCET's wide array of quality programming, such as: DOC MARTIN, ARTBOUND, HUELL HOWSER'S CALIFORNIA'S GOLD, INSPECTOR GEORGE GENTLY, BORDER BLASTER, SOCAL CONNECTED, as well as its international news line-up.

Viewers can also utilize KCET's online channel locator at www.kcet.org/findkcet to find the station in their area. In addition, KCET-HD can also be found on the following cable, satellite and telco providers(channels represent most zip codes):
