She’s one of the most admired women in the world and in April of 2016, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 90th Birthday.  After making a promise to a kingdom and remaining true to it all of her life, KCET will commemorate the milestone year by providing viewers with unprecedented access to Her Majesty and the Royal Family's lives at Buckingham Palace. With individual commentaries from many key figures in her life -- including Prince William, Duke of Cambridge -- and using unique home movies from the Royal Family and tapping film archives from around the globe, THE QUEEN AT 90 portrays the United Kingdom's monarch as never seen before.

On February 6, she officially surpassed her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria to become the longest-reigning monarch in British history. In this revealing documentary, members of the British royal family share their memories of the Queen as a monarch, mentor, and family matriarch, providing rare insight into the private world of Great Britain's most iconic public figures.
