New Documentary Series on KCET and Link TV Unveils June Lineup

 With Compelling Mix of Topics

BURBANK, Calif. - May 28, 2015 - Timed to the anniversary of President Ronald Reagan's passing,KCETLink Media Group, a leading national independent non-profit public broadcast and digital network, will premiere REAGAN, a film by Eugene Jarecki ("Freakonomics," "The House I Live In"), onWednesday, June 3 at 9 p.m. PT in Southern California on KCET and nationwide at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Link TV (DirecTV 375 and DISH 9410). REAGAN is part of KCETLink's flagship documentary seriesLINK VOICES.

REAGAN presents viewers with a look at the fascinating paradoxes surrounding the 40th President of the United States, whose actions continue to reverberate throughout the world today. REAGANshowcases first-hand accounts of the iconic president from those who worked by his side, his children, historians and biographers as well as journalists who covered the Reagan White House. Additionally, the popular "Reagan Ranch" episode of KCET's CALIFORNIA'S GOLD WITH HUELL HOWSER will air on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 at 7 p.m. PT on KCET. In this episode, the late Huell Howser visits the Reagan Ranch in Santa Barbara County and talks to the "folks" who worked the ranch and interacted firsthand with President Reagan and his wife, Nancy.

LINK VOICES provides a unique collection of documentaries that shows a medley of perspectives, untold stories and regional flavors. This impactful documentary series launches with a compelling mix of topics from LGBTQ rights and homelessness to racism and poverty, expressed by the people closest to the issues.
