Burbank, Calif. – May 25, 2017 - KCETLink Media Group, a leading national independent nonprofit public broadcast and digital network, is proud to announce that it has received 17 nominations for the 59th annual Southern California Journalism Awards presented by the Los Angeles Press Club. The station's nominations include 12 for its acclaimed news program SOCAL CONNECTED and four for its multi-media arts and culture series ARTBOUND. Also nominated is the KCET special election initiative, “Props in a Minute.” The 2017 Southern California Journalism Awards will be presented on Sunday, June 25 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel.
