KCETLink Media Group Receives 19 Southern California Journalism Award Nominations Presented by the Los Angeles Press Club

News Program SOCAL CONNECTED Earns Seven Nominations;

Southern California Arts and Culture Series ARTBOUND and

Digital Series DEPARTURES Each Garner Six

Burbank, Calif. - June 2, 2015 - KCETLink Media Group, a leading national independent non-profit public broadcast and digital network, is proud to announce that it has received 19 nominations for the 57th Annual Southern California Journalism Awards presented by the Los Angeles Press Club. The station's nominations include seven for its acclaimed news program SOCAL CONNECTED and six for its transmedia arts and culture series ARTBOUND, and six for KCET's longest running digital series, DEPARTURES, and its columns on the Los Angeles river and the East side of Los Angeles . The 57th Annual Southern California Journalism Awards will be presented on Sunday, June 28 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel.
