KCETLink Wins Eight Los Angeles Press Club Awards
LOS ANGELES, CA--June 24,
2013--KCETLink won eight awards at the 55th Annual Los Angeles Press Club
Journalism Awards Sunday night. KCETLink's
Artbound series won first place for
Entertainment News or Feature, while duPont, Emmy® and Peabody-winning SoCal Connected received an award for
best Talk-Public Affairs show for the fourth year in a row, as well as for best
Feature.The Los Angeles Press Club
Awards honor high-caliber journalism in traditional and emerging media formats,
with winners selected by press clubs around the country. In all, KCETLink received three first
place awards, four second placements and one third place award.
