KCETLink's 'Live @ the Ford' Wins a Telly Award

Burbank, CA -May 20, 2013 -KCETLink's

original performing arts and culture series, Live @ the Ford, has received a People's Bronze Telly in the 34th

Annual Telly Awards. With nearly 11,000 entries nationwide and numerous

countries, less than 10% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Silver Telly, the

highest honor, and approximately 25% of entries are chosen as winners of the

Bronze Telly.

Season one's episode, "Angel City Jazz

Festival - Global Jam", which

showcased cutting edge jazz in Los Angeles, was rated as one of the top videos

by online viewers. In addition, the selection process involved a prestigious

judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past

winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, who evaluated

each entry against a high standard of merit.

Live @ the Ford, now in its second season,

airs a one-hour concert

performance interspersed with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews every third Thursday of each month at 9 p.m. until September
