Burbank, Calif. – Sept. 20, 2019 – Link TV, the national independent non-commercial satellite television network, announced today a new programming lineup for Monday nights highlighting international scripted dramas. Anchored by a third season of Denmark’s popular acclaimed drama FOLLOW THE MONEY and followed by the network premiere of the award-winning Israeli series FAUDA, the two international scripted series offer viewers a chance to see global content that gives new insights into cultures through quality storylines, top-tier production values and noteworthy foreign talent, unlike any other broadcast or satellite network on television. The programs will be part of a newly redesigned Monday night schedule that will kick off on Mon., October 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Link TV (DirecTV 375 and Dish Network 9410).

FOLLOW THE MONEY (from the producers of BORGEN, which aired on Link TV from 2012 to 2015, and the original version of The Killing) explores corruption and politics in the pursuit of wealth. The series takes viewers into the world of economic crime in the banks, on the stock exchanges and in the boardrooms to tell the story of speculators, swindlers, corporate moguls and the crimes they commit in their hunt for wealth. The new season of FOLLOW THE MONEY will kick off the new Monday night lineup at 9 p.m. ET/PT while viewers can also stream all episodes for 30 days after episodes debut at linktv.org/followthemoney

FAUDA (Arabic for 'Chaos') depicts the complex Israeli-Palestinian conflict telling both sides of the story. In the premiere season, a top Israeli agent comes out of retirement to hunt for a Palestinian fighter he thought he'd killed, setting a chaotic chain of events into motion. New to Link TV, the debut season of FAUDA will be telecast at 10 p.m. ET/PT while viewers can also stream all episodes for 30 days after broadcast, with up to 5 episodes available at any given time at linktv.org/fauda

FAUDA is a critically acclaimed, award-winning series that took six awards, including Best Drama Series, at the 2016 Israeli Academy Awards. In December 2017, The New York Times voted “Fauda” the best international show of 2017. In 2018, the series took 11 Israeli TV Academy Awards, including best TV drama, best actor for Lior Raz (also one of the series’ creators) and also best screenplay, casting, cinematography, recording, special effects and in other categories.

With a mission of bringing more voices to the table, Link TV is committed to giving American audiences access to varying perspectives through international dramas. Both FOLLOW THE MONEY and FAUDA are powerful programs that explore complicated global issues, in order to promote better cultural understanding.

Additionally, Link TV currently offers viewers the scripted film series CINEMONDO (Thursday nights) with both foreign film classics and international feature films rarely seen in the US, and the signature documentary series LINK VOICES (Friday nights) by award-winning independent producers from around the globe. Other international dramas that have aired on Link TV in the past include the Israel/Palestinian comedy series ARAB LABOR in 2008/2013 and PRISONERS OF WAR in 2016/2017, which was the model for “Homeland.” The critically acclaimed Danish drama BORGEN premiered on Link TV in 2019 and thus became eligible for, and won, the Peabody Award.
