Burbank - Nov. 23, 2015 - Link TV, a national independent public satellite television network announced today a lineup of new, exclusive pledge programming to air during this holiday season that engages, educates and activates viewers to become involved in the world.
As Link TV closes out the year of its 15th anniversary, new pledge specials aim to bring viewers noncommercial programming that uses media and the power of stories to inspire them to become involved in the world. Link TV connects audiences with the people at the heart of breaking events, organizations at the forefront of social change and with the cultures of an increasingly global community.
"Link TV, originally called World-Link TV, was the first nationwide independent satellite television network dedicated to providing unfiltered culturally diverse programming with a different global orientation than what was broadcast by mainstream media," said Link TV co-founder Kim Spencer. "We continue to seek out the leading voices who can provide unorthodox viewpoints and powerful ideas that challenge our audience to think differently about the world."
Link TV is an independent viewer-supported 501(c)(3) organization, funded by contributions from generous individuals and grants from foundations. Link TV receives no government funding, advertiser or carrier revenue. Link TV is available via satellite on DIRECTV channel 375 and DISH Network channel 9410.
In addition to a new web site launch at LinkTV.org, Link TV's compelling on-air and online content continues to engage viewers in a changing media landscape. Content is also streaming on-demand at linktv.org and on the Link TV Roku channel.

THREE NIGHTS, THREE DAYS is a documentary on Endeavour's 68-hour transport through the streets of Los Angeles. The film takes a behind-the-scenes look at the monumental feat of moving a 150,000-pound national treasure through 14 miles of urban, public streets.
