week, which includes an encore broadcast of an interview with hit-maker David

present L.A. Tonight with Roy Firestone. This
special series of new half-hour interview shows,
hosted by Emmy® award-winning
journalist Roy Firestone, features
some of this century's most influential leaders in entertainment and
sports. 
In
the week-long "Music Makers" series beginning March 12, 2012 at 10 p.m.,
Firestone begins an intriguing two-part interview with Grammy® Award-winning
trumpeter Chris Botti ("When I Fall
in Love", "Emmanuel" and "Cinema Paradiso"), who reveals the key question to ask
aspiring young musicians, why it's sometimes good to be broke, and the artist
he says gave him his career.

Next,
on March 13 at 10 p.m., viewers get a rare glimpse into the life of one of the
most enduring artists of our time with legendary musician, composer and
producer Burt Bacharach ("Raindrops
Keep Falling on My Head, "House Is Not A Home" and "Alfie"), who talks about
his favorite hip-hop artists, and the experience that made him stop writing
Broadway musicals.

Later
in the week on March 14 at 10 p.m., multiple award-winning songwriter/producer,
Diane Warren ("Because You Loved Me",
"How Do I Live" and "Un-break My Heart") discusses the time she got down on her
knees and begged an artist to record one of her songs; and then on March 16,
Grammy® Award-winning jazz vocalist and producer Steve Tyrell ("The Way You Look Tonight," "Simple Life" and "Crush
on You") shares stories about his partnerships with the biggest names in the
music industry, and the song he credits with changing his life.

During the week of March 19, Firestone switches gears and introduces
viewers to an entirely different side of retired tennis icon Andre Agassi, who talks about his
conflicted relationship with his celebrated career and his full life off the
court involving his non-profit work and family.

And
on March 20, Firestone welcomes dancer/director/choreographer Debbie Allen - 30 years after FAME! - who tells him how dance gave her
a sense of self, but that fame was never the goal.

During
this series, KCET will also air encore broadcast of L.A. Tonight with Roy Firestone
featuring 16-time Grammy® Award-winning producer/songwriter, David Foster ("Prayer," "Home" and "If
I Didn't Love You"), Foster performs
some of his biggest hits on the piano and reminisces about working with some of
the greatest voices of all time.
