Burbank, Calif. - June 1, 2015 - Link TV, the national satellite television network and global content provider, will premiere two new episodes of the "internal travel" series, GLOBAL SPIRIT, with guests that include notable author Pico Iyer as well as world renowned author Jean Shinoda Bolen,psychiatrist Dr. Roger N. Walsh and anthropologist Zoila Mendoza. Following the premiere of each episode, viewers will have the opportunity to access a live webcast  on GlobalSpirit.tv, allowing them to join the conversation with the program guests, send comments, and ask questions.

New episodes, "The Call of Wisdom" and "Sacred Travel: The Pilgrimage Experience," will premiere nationwide on Sunday, June 7 and Sunday, June 28 at 9 p.m. ET /PT on Link TV (DirecTV Channel 375 and DISH Network Channel 9410).   The entire GLOBAL SPIRIT series will air Sunday evenings through October with repeat broadcasts throughout the week.  Viewers can also access the episodes online at http://www.GlobalSpirit.tv

Hosted by author and spiritual seeker Phil Cousineau, GLOBAL SPIRIT is a unique inquiry into humankind's diverse belief systems, wisdom traditions, and states of consciousness, bringing together many of the religious and spiritual traditions of the world. Mixing evocative film segments with deep discussion by globally recognized authors, teachers, scientists and spiritual practitioners, the acclaimed series takes viewers on a mind and soul-expanding journey, exploring the relationships between world religions, metaphysics and modern science.

"The Call of Wisdom" Sunday, June 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT

Author, women's activist and psychiatrist Jean Shinoda Bolen and University of California, Irvineprofessor of psychiatry, philosophy, and anthropology Dr. Roger N. Walsh explore from different philosophical, historical and gender-based perspectives, the timeless concept "wisdom." Viewers may join the live conversation at GlobalSpirit.tv at 10 p.m. ET and 7 p.m. PT, immediately following the premiere.

"Sacred Travel: The Pilgrimage Experience" Sunday, June 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT

Acclaimed essayist Pico Iyer and Peruvian anthropologist Zoila Mendoza discuss the experience of a spiritual pilgrimage as the GLOBAL SPIRIT team journeys to the Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage centers of Varanasi, Allahabad and Bodh Gaya in this multi-faith journey and discussion that explores the significance and meanings in this ancient spiritual phenomenon. Viewers may join the live conversation at GlobalSpirit.tv at 10 p.m. ET and 7 p.m. PT, immediately following the premiere.
