The new documentary POWER & HEALTH produced with support from The California Endowment examines the underlying sociological and economic forces that fundamentally shape public health outcomes. Going beyond eating well, exercising and genetics, experts analyze how the intersectionality of race, wealth and power contribute to structures of discrimination that then result in health inequities. POWER & HEALTH premieres in Southern California on Tues., Oct. 27 at 8:00 p.m. on KCET and encores on Thurs., Oct. 29 at 9:00 p.m. PT on PBS SoCal.
