Tonight: KCET's SoCal Connected to Air Special Report on Mass Shootings at Elementary School in Connecticut

mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.,

will air a special report covering the latest news and information on the

school tragedy that has left 28 dead and shaken the nation.

Tonight's

program will cover issues including:

Brand will speak with Southern California experts to offer insight around these

issues, including Dr. Catherine Mogil, a clinical psychologist and Co-Director

of UCLA's Child and Family Trauma Service, who advises us on what to tell our

kids; and Stephen Diamond, a forensic psychologist who will discuss the

psychology of a mass shooter.

Tonight's episode airs at 7 p.m. and repeats

at 10:30 p.m.
