Classical KUSC

Classical KUSC is one of the largest and most listened to classical music stations in the country. The listener-supported, nonprofit public station has been on the air for more than 60 years as a broadcast service of the University of Southern California. Classical KUSC is located in downtown Los Angeles and broadcasts hand-picked commercial-free classical performances, expert music commentary and coverage of the arts in Southern California. The station is the broadcast home of the LA Philharmonic, LA Opera, LA Master Chorale, LA Chamber Orchestra, Pacific Symphony and the USC Thornton School of Music, among other Southern California musical institutions.

It is live-streamed on the Web at kusc.org, attracting listeners from around the globe. On the radio dial, it is found at 91.5 (FM) in Los Angeles and Santa Clarita, 88.5 KPSC in Palm Springs, 91.1 KDSC in Thousand Oaks, 88.7 KQSC in Santa Barbara and 99.7 in Morro Bay/San Luis Obispo.

USC Radio also operates Classical KDFC in San Francisco, the only classical music service in the Bay Area. It broadcasts as far north as Napa/Sonoma, as far south as the South Bay and Peninsula, and online at kdfc.com.

Every week, more than 1 million Californians listen to the two USC Radio classical stations.
