Eagle Rock

With students from Occidental CollegeEagle Rock is a small crevice of Los Angeles, poking its head between Glendale and Pasadena. In its hay day, thanks to Colorado Boulevard, Eagle Rock was the throughway between the Valley and Pasadena. With the construction of 2 freeway however, Eagle Rock froze in time forgotten by the travelers who once marveled at its orchard and dahlia fields.  Although a curse to some, the freeway became a blessing in disguise, allowing Eagle Rock to maintain its sleepy, small time feel and giving the community enough time and space to develop on its own terms.
