Project summary: In April of this 2013, a judge ruled that Fresno County is no longer required to offer healthcare services and eliminate funding for the Medically Indigent Services Program (MISP.) A program that provides free medical services to an estimated 6,000 undocumented residents -- many of whom are farmworkers. Juliana Doe and her family are some of those residents who currently benefit from MISP.
