American Sweetheart

Clara, a suburban housewife stuck in conventionality, stumbles upon hints that her beloved husband, William, has been cheating on her. Transfixed in her domestic situation, Clara re-discovers herself while baking an elegant cake for William. Director Karin Binanto owns her own bakery, Laréia Cake & Co, in Surabaya, Indonesia. Producer Avril Ilejay is now a Producer at Blizzard Entertainment.  Composer Ben Bromfield’s recent credits include "Modern Family," "Franklin & Bash," "Legends," "Californication" and "The Boss Baby: Back in Business."

Followed by “Assembly Required,” a film from Chapman University’s Christian Whittemore about a woman literally falling apart. In the final short film, take a road trip with director Hau Nguyen and his Orange Coast College’s Food Riders as they try to eliminate campus waste.
