Gram & Papa's: Grammys' Turkey Burger

Welcome to another edition of Free Lunch, "Where You're the Reviewer." This installment takes us to a great little spot in Los Angeles' Fashion District - gram & papa's. Foodies out there might be familiar with this establishment for a number of reasons:

1. Chef Ludo Lefebvre, a competitor on season two of Top Chef Masters and mastermind behind the insanely popular pop-up restaurants LudoBites, hosted LudoBites 5.0 here.
2. The menu includes other items sought after by food enthusiasts like coffee from Intelligentsia and ice cream sandwiches from Cool Haus.
3. Last but not least, their chicken salad sandwich was named one of the best in the city by Los Angeles Magazine in 2010.

Our participant this time around was kcet.org commenter Eric J. Medina. He ordered grammys' turkey burger which came with caramelized vidalias, lettuce, tomato and gp sauce on a rosemary focaccia accompanied by chips.

As you'll see in our video, Eric enjoyed everything about gram & papa's except for the parking which at times can be difficult in that part of town. Eric did such a thorough job of reviewing gram & papa's that I don't have much to add when it comes to the food. However, another thing worth noting are the photographs taken by Estevan Oriol (one of the most sought after photographers of the Urban and Hip-Hop community).
