Green Peas: Raw Kale Salad

Here it is! Our first installment of Free Lunch, "Where You're the Reviewer."

For this episode, we took kcet.org commenter The Actor's Diet - aka Lynn Chen - to Green Peas in Culver City. Lynn ordered the raw kale salad, which is supposed to be vegan, except that she added chicken to it. As you'll see, I had a prosciutto sandwich. Green Peas is a charming little place that wants "you to feel healthy, happy and full." Looking at the video above, I think they accomplished that for Lynn. We really liked that they offer a choice of breads, and, even though we did not partake, the desserts looked really good.
