Sandwiches at The Park Restaurant: Buffalo Chicken, BBQ Pork & Short Ribs

Today we're doing things in multiples—two neighborhoods, businesses and comedians, three sandwiches and one chef.

Randy Liedtke is a barista (by day) at Broome St. General Store in Silver Lake. Named after a street in NYC, this charming store carries a cute selection of goods and products, from candy to gardening tools. It's a great place to hang out, snack and shop. Say hi to Randy if you decide to visit.

Randy is also, with Davey Johnson, part of a comedy duo known as the Doorknockers. They perform the Tomorrow Show every Friday at midnight at The Steve Allen Theater.

Randy got off work at Broome St. and met up with Davey for lunch at The Park in Echo Park. The restaurant is one of Randy's favorite spots for casual, American food. Davey had never been there before; Randy likes it so much that he even tried to work there at one point.

There was a lot of love going between Randy and Davey, the food—buffalo chicken sandwich, pulled pork BBQ sandwich and short rib cheesesteak (which they went halfsies on)—and The Park's owner/chef Josh Siegel. Randy was able to have a small bromantic moment with Josh after Davey left for a very important famous person meeting.
