Wurstküche: Rattlesnake & Rabbit Sausage

Here's our next installment of Free Lunch, "Where You're the Reviewer."

For this episode, we took kcet.org commenter Steven Paul Leiva to Wurstküchein downtown Los Angeles. Steven ordered the rattlesnake & rabbit with jalapeño peppers; he was worried it would be too spicy, but rated it "mildly delicious" - mild spice, delicious taste. As you'll see, we also sampled the vegetarian smoked apple sage, the buffalo beef & pork with chipotle peppers, and the mango jalapeño sausages. Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy any of their beers, but the selection looked very interesting and tasty.

Wurstküche, "Purveyor of Exotic Grilled Sausages" is a great place to enjoy a meal with your friends. There's definitely something for everybody so long as you're in the mood for their type of cuisine. The atmosphere is casual, they have a pleasant patio, a great selection of beers and they're located within walking distance from many points of interest in downtown LA.
