California's Gold, Episode #2081991
Huell focuses on the traditions that remind California of its rich heritage. He first visits Stockton to spend a day with the Stockton Ports, a minor league baseball team that has been playing for over 100 years and is referenced in the famous poem, “Casey at the Bat.” Next stop is San Francisco where the jolly Golden Gate Park Band has been playing since 1882. Huell also visits an Ontario-based Mexican rodeo. Where else will you find such a variety of tradition?
