Where's Huell? 10/22 to 10/28
This week Huell enjoys a meal to "Polk"-about, pays a visit to Salvation Mountain and his old friend Leonard Knight, tours the legendary Buck Owen's Crystal Palace, and washes windows - 1000 feet in the air. Thursday - October 22, 2009; 7:30pm: Golden Gate Replicas - Huell visits two replicas of the Golden Gate Bridge: the walkway to the Point Bonita Lighthouse, and the Guy West Footbridge at Cal State Sacramento.

Friday - October 23, 2009; 7:30pm: Chiriaco Summit - Huell visits with the people who live and work in this desert outpost on the town's 75th anniversary.

Saturday - Oct. 24, 2009; 7:00pm: Desert Adventures - Huell visits with outsider artist Leonard Knight to see how his Salvation Mountain is growing. He also takes a look at natural mudpots, which only occur in three places in the U.S..

Sunday - October 25, 2009; 7:00pm: Bakersfield - Huell’s next stop on his Road Trip is Bakersfield, where he samples Basque food, visits a Tule Elk reserve and tours Buck Owens' Crystal Palace.

Monday - October 26, 2009; 7:00pm: Polka Restaurant - Huell enjoys a Polish feast at Polka, a restaurant in Glassell Park.

Tuesday - October 27, 2009; 7:00pm: Monarchs - Huell travels to Pismo State Beach, the largest over-wintering site for Monarch butterflies in the U.S.

Wednesday - October 28, 2009; 7:00pm: Tallest Buildings - Huell goes over the edge - literally - when he joins the window washing crew atop the First Interstate Buildingin Los Angeles, 73 floors up.
