This week, Huell's in the City of Orange, mastering the art of drying persimmons, gulping down some Thai food, batting around during badminton, and getting some printing done. He even makes it over to a Pasadena Soap Kitchen to learn about the process. You won't want to miss a minute of it! Thursday - November 12; 7:30pm: Persimmons - Huell travels to the family-owned Otow Orchards to learn the Japanese art of drying persimmons, a century old tradition in the small town of Granite Bay, California.

Friday - November 13, 2009; 7:30pm: Tap Water: The Drink of Choice - Huell visits three special California locations to understand why California’s water is considered some of the best in the country. Huell also stops at Chez Panisse in Berkeley before making his way to Los Vaqueros Reservoir, Brentwood, and, finally, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

Saturday - November 14, 2009; 7:00pm: City of Orange - Huell heads to the City of Orange to learn the rich history of this all American town. Mr. Howser also makes stops at the Orange County Badminton Club, Pitcher Park, Watson's Drug and Soda Fountain, and many other historic sites.

Sunday - November 15, 2009; 7:00pm: San Simeon - Huell visits the largest privately-owned cattle ranch on the California coast. Through a conservation effort, Californians will be able to access 18 miles of coastline and 1,500 acres of land. Watch Huell learn about the future of the ranch.

Monday - November 16, 2009; 7:30pm: See’s Candy - Since 1921, See’s Candy has become one of California’s “sweetest” most famous success stories. Huell makes two See's related stops in a San Francisco shop and Los Angeles factory.

Tuesday - November 17, 2009; 7:30pm: Soap - Huell descends on Pasadena’s Soap Kitchen to learn about the process. From the early history of mixing animal tallow with wood ashes to the mass marketing of Ivory bars, this adventure will leave you feeling clean all over.

Wednesday - November 18, 2009; 7:30pm: San Diego East Village - Seated at the heart of downtown San Diego, the East Village has been a cornerstone to the city's resurgence in recent years. From Petco Park to restored historic buildings, this vibrant community seems to be thriving.
