Wall

"Wall" follows British playwright David Hare on a trip to the Middle East to examine the impact the wall separating Israel and Palestine has had on the people of the region. The feature-length film is an animated take on real-life events.

Hare, a two-time Academy Award® nominee best known for his screen adaptations of "The Hours," "Denial", and "The Reader," wrote the film based on his trips to Israel and the Occupied Territories, which he explored in his one-man filmed stage play "Via Dolorosa." The partition has grown more than 500 kilometers since "Via Dolorosa" was released in 2000, and has doubled the length of the Green Line separating the two alleged states.
