Election Special: HispanTV Depicts Trump's Plan to 'Blackmail' Mexico

While Donald Trump's rhetoric has strained relations with Mexico, the candidate's plan to fund a wall at the U.S./Mexico border would have a significant impact on the daily lives of Mexicans.
This piece by Iran-based HispanTV analyzes Trump's plan, which was designed to force the Mexican government to pay for the 1,000-mile wall by blocking remittances sent from the U.S. to Mexico. The presidential candidate said this proposal was a good deal for Mexico, as it would make a single payment of $5-$10 billion in exchange to receive more than $24 billion annually. Among the many people reacting to this announcement in April, was President Barack Obama, who wished the candidate good luck with tracking every wire transfer out of the U.S.
