Reporter Roundup: COVID19 Impacts Minorities, Poor

On the April 27 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters have fresh data on COVID-19 cases, discuss schools’ grading systems and the coronavirus’ impact on roads and highways.

Los Angeles County now has more than twenty thousand cases of COVID19, heavily impacting people of color, according to KPCC reporter Jackie Fortier.

KPCC’s Kyle Stokes reports schools are rethinking their policies for grading students during the pandemic.

KPCC’s Sharon McNary has details on how coronavirus is impacting construction sites. Less traffic is providing an opportunity for local officials to do much need road repairs.
