Reporter Roundup: LAUSD News and Latest on COVID-19

KPCC’s Carla Javier discusses LAUSD Superintendent Austin Beutner’s announcement today that LAUSD campuses will remain closed through the end of this school year.

Los Angeles County officials have said that based on modeling, they project there will be enough hospital beds for COVID-19 patients but only if current social distancing standards are maintained, according to KPCC reporter Elly Yu.

Reporter Jacob Margolis has details on how tens of millions of pounds of California strawberries could go bad in the coming weeks thanks to the pandemic.
