Reporter Roundup: Police Use of Force, COVID Surge

On the July 7 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters discuss the COVID-19 surge, PPP loan recipients and police use of force data. 

According to an analysis of California Department of Justice data by KPCC’s Aaron Mendelson, Black Angelenos are far more likely to experience police use of force than other populations. 

KPCC’s Emily Guerin has news on some of the businesses that received Paycheck Protection Program loans. 

Reporter Elly Yu shares what she is hearing from physicians and hospital administrators about hospital preparedness during the coronavirus surge.
