Reporter Roundup: Stay-At-Home Extended

Season 1 Episode 118

On the April 10 edition of Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters provide details on the extension of the stay-at-home order, a study on antibody testing and the economic impact of COVID-19 on California.

Reporter Jackie Fortier explains today’s announcement from county health officials that the stay-at-home order is extended until May 15, and why continuing physical distancing could drastically lower the number of cases in L.A.

KPCC’s Robert Garrova has details on the efforts of researchers at USC and from L.A. County regarding COVID-19 antibody testing.

2 million Californians have already filed for unemployment, and a new report released today says it could only get worse. They estimate that 43% of Californians are at high-risk of unemployment, according to KPCC reporter David Wagner.
