Reporter Roundup for July 6

Reporter Roundup: Wildfire Worries, TB Resurgence

On the July 6 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters discuss tuberculosis fears, wildfire worries and streaming Hamilton.

KPCC’s Jacob Margolis has the latest on this weekend’s Soledad fire in Santa Clarita. It has burned some 1,300 acres and prompted evacuations.

Los Angeles County has ramped up contact tracing for COVID-19 but that leaves room for another infectious disease: tuberculosis. KPCC’s Jackie Fortier explains why county officials are worried about a resurgence.

The Broadway musical Hamilton is now streaming on Disney+. KPCC’s John Horn reports on how it’s being received.
