Today is the Deadline to Register to Vote

On the Oct. 19 edition of the Reporter Roundup, KPCC reporters discuss today’s deadline to register to vote, Trump’s request to boot undocumented immigrants from Census numbers and why public health officials recommend everyone gets the flu shot this year.

Registration Deadline
Today is the last day to register to vote if you don’t want to do it in-person. Mike Roe discusses where you can still register tonight and your options if you miss the deadline.

Immigrant Census Numbers
The Supreme Court will review an attempt by President Donald Trump to leave unauthorized immigrants out of the census numbers. Caroline Champlin explains what that could mean for Los Angeles.

Flu Shot
Public health officials are encouraging everyone over the age of 6 months to get a flu shot this year. Jackie Fortier explains why and where.
