Our 6-month investigation of the Housing Authority of Los Angeles peaked the interest of U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, R-Iowa. After hearing what we uncovered about HACLA's executive director and other commissioners, Grassley sent a letter to Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan requesting answers to a litany of tough questions.
