Demonstrators aligned with various groups gathered in Downtown Los Angeles on Friday as part of May Day protests happening nationwide. One group gathered on the steps of Los Angeles City hall to protest ‘re-open America’ rallies while counter protesters also happened in front of city hall. Protest caravans clogged a few streets around Downtown LA, demanding rent relief and economic help for street vendors hit hard by COVID-19.
