WISE Connections

For a dollar a day, older Angelenos can retain the services of a volunteer at WISE Connections, an organization that brings together local residents over 50 and helps them continue living at home. According to WISE, the idea is based on the "village" concept that got its start in Boston.

In an exclusive Web video from Your Turn to Care, volunteer Barbara Browning demonstrates how seniors can help each other around the house and even get out for a day on the town.

Orange County Gets First Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine

A Providence St. Joseph Hospital nurse was the first person in Orange County today to be vaccinated for COVID-19, shortly followed by other health care workers.
